This story works on many levels. A supernatural investigation into the angst of growing up and finding your place in the world, or a good old fashioned werewolf yarn with a few twists and lots of gore, but either way it is gripping, honest, and claws at your heart strings as you feel every pang of the narrator’s emotions; the excitement of being different and powerful, the despair when it all goes wrong, and the sheer thrill of the chase, even if it is your next snack.

Hybrid had me gripped from the first sentence. Think you know vampires and werewolves? Think again.
